Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world.
Nara collects herself and gets to class and immediately gets the confirmation that there are thieves about. Moreover, that they hit Golem Hall.
Perhaps needless to say, much of the class is still a bit grouchy about it too.
As Belial points out, Eiji indeed mentioned a plan last time we saw him, but he really didn't say anything more substantial than "dude, just trust me." And as Keegan points out, the City Guard (essentially, the police) probably wouldn't be much help here. Anyway, Nara hears of Eiji's "plan" and immediately gets a bad feeling, so she heads out to find him.
Somewhat detached from everything else, but I'd like to also highlight the other two absences. Apparently, all that medicine did the trick as Chiaki seems to be feeling better already. But she's still worn out and sore, so she's taking an extra day to recover. And Nagisa stayed home with her.
Does Nara know of Eiji's past? If she does then she likely has an idea of what he's trying and why she immediately canceled class to make sure he comes back safely.
Good for Nara being the adult in charge and taking things seriously, though mildly worried about what Eiji's plan is and if it's a good thing that Nara was told.
Or if it'll work out fine, but the rest of the class get into shenanigans after being left unsupervised.
Nagisa staying with Chiaki. That’s some prime shipping fuel right there.
Nara officially displays her status as team mom.
Just like redlupine, I believe Nara knows about Eiji’s past. So she’s cancelling class to stop him before someone gets hurt or he does something regrettable.
And Keegan’s smirking, but I bet he’s more bitter than anything. His whacky persona is just an act so no one comes in.
Just going to say that the word for "police" in Gaelic is spelled guarda in the Latin alphabet and pronounced pretty much the way it's spelled. So there is a precedent in our world for using that term for the constabulary.
Seriously though Nara's probably right. This oughta be interesting to watch in general though!
Additional guessing: bringing in Eiji was what inspired the page program in the first place.
