This page is by Microraptor, producer of the amazing Cryptida (and spin-offs).

So here we have our intrepid investigative reporter doing a slightly different investigation. This time, she's stuck with an Agatha Christie style murder at a new house owned by Edward Chapel.

For whatever reason, he has invited (left-to-right):
Bettina Timmy
Madeleine Waite
Bridget Flint
Masahiro Takira
Elliott Maerc (combining his look from Flyover Country with more civilian clothing, as seen in the earlier LIR incarnations)
Augustus Alexander
Joseph Drake Sr.
Corbin Shelby
Edward Chapel
and Gabrielle Armstrong

Whew...

Thank you sooooo much, Micro.

Obviously, I didn't foresee lirv killing off Elliot Maerc before this page could be posted...

Also, if this is not simply just a daydream that Felicia has, my head canon is that the "murder" was actually just an accident (e.g. one of the house servants stumbled, fell down the stairs and broke their neck). And Felicia figured that out pretty early, but liked how all those oh so powerful people got overly nervous while she had carte blanche for snooping around a bit in their affairs...

Who knows? You never put a date on this meeting, so it could very well have happened the day before his...underestimation...of Team NunChuck.

Megalomaniacs have busy social calendars too, you know...

- Monday: Attend Chapel's housewarming party.
(Must not forget to bring a bottle of champagne or something.)

- Tuesday: Crush the Numinous Corps with my Starry Wisdom army! Then make MJ Stonecastle an offer she can't refuse.
(Must not forget to bring along the sword.)

Megalomaniacs also have a way of not dying when they are supposed to...

The beauty of a page like this is that it's flexible where it fits in the timeline (or even which timeline it's part of...)

At any rate, yes, Felicia is probably loving this opportunity. :)

uh, when did you make this page, MR? That's probably a good date for timing this event, at least from a Lirverse perspective

(good to see you moving pages again, Prof!)

Let's see...

*noise of paper rustling*

Ah yes, I created the file on September 5th 2019, and sent the finished picture to Prof on September 21st.

(Also, I second the notion that it's good to see you active again, Prof!)

On further reflection, after suggesting that she has "information" on everyone in the room, I would be very surprised if Felicia survived the night!

I mean, a majority of these guests have put people in the ground, either personally or by delegation. Yes, I count Bettina in that number; "killing" her brother was both the best and worst thing for her reputation!

Good point.

By this time, I'd be surprised if Felicia isn't packing heat, all things considered.

And there would have to be a reason Chapel invited her.

And she probably told someone she was here.

That being said, there is likely at least one person in this gathering who would actively keep her alive, because of reasons...

"Colonel Mustard in the kitchen, with the candlestick."

I've read a lot of classic expose-the-murderer-in-a-dramatic-reveal-in-front of-a-group-of-suspects stories, and have long wondered why it didn't seem to occur to the inspector/detective/Nosy Parker doing the revealing that they were dealing with someone who might conceivably KILL them. O.O

If I were the killer, the last thing I'd do is sit there calmly while someone pointed the finger at me. ^^

On the other hand, this one sounds like fun. :)

You underestimate the unsuspecting and calm nature of the standard murder mystery sociopath young Jedi.

Too arrogant to believe they'd get caught?

No. It isn't dead. Real life has sidelined it for a while, but we do have something planned for this year.
