Holy crap you guys, I am terrible at updating our status. I’m so sorry.
A lot lot lot lot of life stuff has been happening lately which has kept us from working on Artoris. Maki had to move which, as you can imagine, was a hell of an undertaking. She also attended Otakon this weekend to sell some art! On Alyssa’s end, she helped produce some art for the con as well, up until her tablet died and she’s waiting for a new one in the mail. Also generally being sick.
Now that that is over, we hope to start on the next scene shortly and have it out in two weeks, the 15th or 16th. See you then!

Hey, we’re still alive.
So it was convention preparation, then a trip, then work moves monopolizing time, illnesses, and holiday clusterfucks, and on and on. But we’ve been slowly poking away on scenes and hope to have a bit of a buffer to go on come 2017. There are still life issues and surely hiccups to come, but we’re still going. Life is hard. So is creating content. So yeah. Will just take time.

Artoris is an original fantasy web novel, co-created by two artists. It is comprised of written segments with frequent illustrated images and occasional short flash animations. We update with a full chapter once a week.
Artoris takes place in a fantastic world created by a jealous god. Wars in the past have driven the human population to live largely in a singular tower, high above the earth. In charge of this tower are Binders. Populating the rest of the world are a variety of intelligent and fantastical creature races, colloquially known as Morphs. Binders can, true to their name, “bind” Morphs to them.
The story itself follows the adventures of three Binder students, and the three Morphs tied to them, as they learn more about the world that created these strange circumstances, and fight to make it a better and more equal place.
That being said, some minor notes. The story is rated about PG-13, and shouldn’t include anything too mature beyond some language, violence, and implied but not obvious nudity. Definitely nothing overtly nsfw. If that all sounds good to you, then feel free to begin reading! Thanks so much for checking out Artoris, and we hope you enjoy your stay.
