Em, hello👋. I just found and read this comic and feel strange about that. I'm really liked it, but i don't really understand some parts of the plot. Maybe I'm just stupid and don't see obvious explanations inside the comic in their dialogues and throughts. But I want to point out that English is not my first language( I'm from Ukraine 🇺🇦 ) , so even if i can understand what they talking about, there still some things i miss😔. I'm really thank you for your reply and being worried about us🙏. Right now I live with my family in safe place, but there are lots of people who are live in occupation or lost their homes so i hope that soon they will be saved. I have a glance at your comic and it looks really beautifull(especially latest pages). But , tbh, I'm not really interested in historical plots and never actually read books or comics with historical events😔. I think it is because my historical teacher were the worst and repelled the desire to learn her's subject, and so i feel boring when I even think about history or something related to this. But I think your comic have interesting plot, so i saved it and will definitely read it when I won't feel like this anymore. I also will recommend it to my friends or anyone who are interested in history. When i read this comic at first I don't understand some of it's parts, so I thought I could find videos with explanations or translated version. I noticed girl who wrote huge comments under every page, and after reading some of them I even understand some details in this comic. So at first I wanted to write to her, but when I visited her profile it it said that she hasn't been there since 2019, so she probably wouldn't have answered me. I read comments more carefully, and found yours. I looked at your picture and profile, and thought that you are ukrainian, so it could be easier to communicate. Your profile also looked live and active, so I had a chance that you would reply to me. But I wasn't sure, so after a few days I re-read this comic more carefully and now it looks more clear to me. I'm sorry that I wrote my first comment without details, which caused confusion 😅. Thanks again for your reply, I wish you all the best and that your comic becomes more and more popular every day. I’m sorry, though, I think English might be our only language in common. If that’s too annoying for you (your English is really good, by the way) I completely understand. But if you want to hang out and talk about BATB, that’s cool too!
I love that the last panel isn't focused on them, it helps it feel like this webcomic has just been a part of these two people's lives, and that they'll continue on even without an audience.

Oh god. This is really it. This is the last page I will ever review for this comic. It's the end of an era, Megan, and I blame you for the tears--but they're happy ones, rest assured.
It's so good to see Beauty and Argus at peace like this. Argus' kiss to Beauty's fingers. His willingness to go through it all again, because it would mean sharing a life with her in the end. Them sitting together in the snow under the aurora, as if her mom is still watching over them. And Beauty still calls him Beast in private moments! I couldn't have imagined a more heartwarming final page. <3 As others have said, the choice to pan upwards in the last panel feels both cinematic and like it's reassuring us that their lives will continue on happily from here. I'm so happy for them and proud of them!
I'm also so proud and happy for you, Megan! You've accomplished so much in the last seven years, both in your life and with this story. It's been an amazing journey (albeit one in which I popped up every once in a while to leave comments like a frantic, spring daisy) and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to join you on it. As I've said, I'm excited to see what you have in store for us next. You've made a masterpiece here, and I can't imagine your next works will be any less impressive and touching!

Lovely ending. And thank you so much for the delicate views on how Beauty handles Argus's depression earlier in the epilogue. It's really helped shape my interactions with some of the people I'm close with who have depression. You can't fix it for them, but you can be there waiting for them if and when they're ready to reach back out to you. :') Beautiful story that will definitely stick with me. Truly beautiful in so many ways! From the art to the storytelling to the dialogue, every aspect had me bewitched and enthralled, excited yet anxious to know what happens next. I especially love the commentary to the characters in the author's notes!

I have come back to this story so many times to reread it. I love the whole story but this particular retelling always pulls on my heartstrings. To think I first found this in 2017-2018 is crazy and to think that I’ll probably come back to read this again and again and still feel the same little butterflies of happiness in my heart from your story is just amazing.
