We all know that the job market is kind of rough right now, so one would think that when attending a career fair students would bring their A game. I kept pondering this line of thinking over and over,when I realized: maybe this was their A game. If that was the case, I feel very, very sorry for both the students and the unwitting employers who don’t spend quality time screening candidates and end up hiring these people.
Of course, their ineptitude does have the side benefit of making us semi-competent people seem like rockstars by comparison, so, uh, hurray for that I suppose. |
