Questions, how frequent is people with the gift? You once said they are more predominant in the Sword Courts and we know that in the Green Isles where Colleen is from it's kind of rare someone get the gift in general, what is the frequency or the spread? Like in a major city and a small village, you can expect how many in each? And which religion has the more people with a gift? Or is it something exclusive to the God Colleen is worshipping?
And has Colleen seen different spells than the ones she demonstrated so far from those peoples with the gift she met?
"The Gift" is just a Solan Church term for divine magic that comes from the High Father. Divine magic can come from any number of gods or very powerful supernatural beings.
The frequency of people with the gift varies. Sometimes, it's so common that every town and village has at least one person with the gift. Other times, it's not seen anywhere in the land for generations. It entirely depends on the mysterious will of the High Father.
In the current age and region of the world this comic is set in, it's rare, but not unheard of.
Magic ability is rare and the chance that your normal person seeing someone use magic would be very rare to point that most people would not believe magic is real. It is a lot like Space Marines from Warhammer 40k. The readers know all about the Marines but the average person in the empire may not of seen any marines for his entire life.
It's almost exactly 2 years since we were last in the Marblegate dungeon (no wonder Randulf's out of beer money!). Looking forward to seeing the old place again...
I've been following the comic for almost a year so that'll be my first time witnessing dungeoneering "live". I'm excited :)
Obviously I didn't mind the story and character development at all, otherwise I wouldn't be here.
In fact, I was really impressed with the depths and nuances of feelings you went into, that I wasn't necessarily expecting from a heroic fantasy comic. Cheers!
I like the new gear for Colleen and Ozzy.
